Hello there. This has been a long time coming, but I wanted to reintroduce myself on this blog. This has essentially been my true blog since its inception in 2010, which is 15 years ago. I've been looking over my posts, and I've been kind of editing things. I haven't been changing things; I've just been editing for grammar and such so they're more readable. I want to get started with blog posts again because I'm restarting the Dedicant Path. I've gone through and looked at my oath, and it doesn't look like I've failed in the oath, per se. I am very grateful for my past self for consistently looking at what my words mean and being really careful in my wording for things so that it wasn't easy for me to break my oath, but it also wasn't easy for me not to break my oath. Spider Woman's Web: Traditional Native American Tales About Women's Power

Image via Wikipedia This is a book I picked up from BN a few days ago. I was looking through the cultural studies section, because the native american metaphysical books are there instead of the Metaphysical sections. Go figure. Anyway, I picked this book up and am pleasantly surprised by it. I was expecting a mishmash of cultures and generalities but what I got was a precise study of NA Culture with only a slight feminist slant without screwing up the tales themselves. The translations are solid and enjoyable to read, made for a modern audience but remaining true to the roots they spring from. Day 6

My meditation went well, at the end I was a little jittery but other than that it went well. I’m feeling pretty goo about praying in the morning, I pray for many people but mostly the wellbeing of those closest to me. I may pray for the world later on but the people in my world are what matter right now. We’re so spread out right now I like to keep them close in my thoughts at least.  One day I might actually wake up before noon. Someday. Not today though. I had a bad day at work, I nearly had a panic attack. I really need to get a better job.  I’m feeling pretty good about my morning routine.  I’m surrounded by so much negativity right now its nice to at least start the ay on a positive note. Thats what my meditation and prayer is for me, that not I want my day to start out on. If it goes downhill from their at least it started out as well as I could make it. I only have control over my actions and reactions. So I start out my day the best that I can.
